Session 2: Meet to Marry Meditation

Session Progress:

Welcome to the Meet to Marry Meditation.

Now you’re going to really solidify your dream, you vision by doing the meditation.

I encourage you to have the presence of mind, that as you complete the meditation, it is important to capture the pure emotion that you experienced.

While the meditation will only take a few moments, you should allow time to settle your mind and then also review and journal the visions you experienced.

Let’s set the stage for your success.

Welcome to the Meet to Marry Meditation.

Start by making sure you’re in a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted for the next ten minutes. Turn off your cell phone and get comfortable.  You might want to sit in an upright position or stretch out on your couch. Do whatever feels good for you.

Allow yourself to go with the flow of the meditation and sink into a deep sense of relaxation and creativity.   

People who do this meditation report feeling happy and peaceful.  These feelings of happiness and peace allow you to create your marriage vision from the very core of your being.

The Meet to Marry meditation is here for you—you can download it and listen to it at any time—so you can return to it again and again. . .whenever you want or need to get in touch with your inspiration.  You can keep deepening and deepening your vision.

No matter what techniques you use to get there, allowing everything to be as it is while remaining perfectly still, within and without, is the essence of true meditation. But the great mystics must have also realized that for the average person, being still is probably the hardest thing there is to do.

Before beginning, be sure to create the environment that will produce the most success:

  • Choose a quiet comfortable place
  • Sit or lay down – whichever brings you most comfort
  • Turn off all electronic devices – cell phones – computers – Unplug from the world – plug into yourself.

Give yourself the gift of the next eight to ten minutes to devote to your meditation practice. So don’t dwell on anything–just be still, calm, at ease, and ignore your busy mind.

Take a deep breath and remember to breathe deeply while you continue through the meditation lesson.
